I hope these points will give you compelling reason to trust in God’s timing-no matter what it is you’re waiting on Him for. We need to cling to God’s promises in Scripture, as well as our past experiences with His faithfulness, to stay strong in prayer and keep waiting with expectation! Which is exactly why it’s so important to TRUST GOD’S TIMING! Because there is so much that we cannot comprehend. Just imagine all the details of God’s plan that we can’t possibly understand! …but, I’ve also seen how God’s timing is perfect! After the frustration of waiting, came the realization that God was/is preparing me for something, or teaching me, or holding off the blessing until I’m actually ready for it… and those are just the things that I can comprehend. I’ve certainly been there, and still am in many ways… waiting for a possible future husband (at age 38), hoping to be healed of physical maladies, longing to see loved ones come to know Christ, and the list goes on… And, the longer the wait, the harder it is to hold onto hope and keep praying and believing for a resolution. Bringing me further and deeper into my spiritual understandings. Yet I did and it brought me closer to my higher self, in the form of many lessons. I didn’t want to ever learn what grief felt like. Which of course is easier said then done. We can only do our best to be grateful in the present. There is no magical time machine to go back in time and change anything we did or anything we will do currently. All it means is that everything happens on its own time. Especially when we never want it to happen at all. I can tell you gratitude is hard when your coming from a place of anger and not love.ĭivine timing doesn’t mean it happens when we expect it to or want it to. I had to try to be happy for what I had before it was gone. There’s nothing I can do about it to change the reality of it. If you asked me initially I would have said the loss wasn’t supposed to happen. I had to experience grief for the first time this spring. Which took minutes, or hours, or days, or weeks, or months, or even years.Īnd it has not been all angel numbers and peace signs but even the tough things happened in their own divine timing.
